Your basjoo seems to have suffered from the winter… But it gives an optimistic shoot ! they are hardy plants. I do like this purple euphorbia LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
This basjoo suffered from competition with a trumpet vine, then freezing weather. At one point I had given it up for dead, so I was delighted to see this shoot. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
I really like the contrast of the foliage of the Euphorbia and its flowers. I don’t think I’ve seen one with purpley-red foliage before. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
Yay, spring. That Euphorbia is fabulous. The Phalaris is called Granny’s Garters in the south…covers things up in the front of the border… LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
The Euphorbia looks great. Looking forward to seeing the Musa too – a bit of exoticism! LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
I love the alternative name for the Phalaris that The Shrub Queen mentions. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
