The rain continues. The mountains are very green, frequently veiled in mist. The garden is responding to the moisture, lengthening days, and warming temperatures.

It has been warm here – no frost for a couple of weeks at least. This is the first of my lavenders to bloom.

You have rain? How wonderful. Rainy England’s gardeners would like some, we are going through a dry spell. Love the lavender colour and the native plants are always lovely to learn about.

Lovely photos, Mr Rogue! The new growth on the Opuntia is lovely, as is the cistus. I really enjoyed your opening description of the mountain mist, very evocative.
